You can check your luggage the evening before your flight at the counter marked "Vorabend-Check-in". This service allows you to get your journey off to a relaxed start the following day. All major (charter) airlines, and some regular scheduled flights, offer this service free of charge. The airlines listed below will accept your luggage and bulky goods and will issue your boarding card upon receiving your ticket and passport the evening before your flight. Flights in the EU
As an EU citizen you can enter any EU member state without a visa. As a rule all you need is a valid identity card or passport. Your children must have their own identity card. Household pets usually need an inoculation card.

Our security staff are equipped with the very latest equipment, including CCTV systems and access control systems. Together with the Federal Border Guards, the customs and the police, they maintain a 24-hour, 365-day presence in the terminals, on the apron and throughout the entire site.

For your own protection, passengers, hand luggage and checked luggage are security screened before boarding the aircraft.

Hazardous goods / dangerous items In accordance with the EU regulation for air traffic introduced on 1 February 2004, passengers are prohibited from taking items that have been classified as dangerous or hazardous into the aircraft cabin on flights leaving from Germany or from transporting these items in their checked baggage.
